D'awwww. That's really cute. ^^ How's it going? Ha, my rats have been a handful... The oldest one got lice AGAIN (I still have no idea where they're coming from, I've cleaned every inch of the house...) and the little ones are getting to the point where they like to wrestle. And squeak all night. O_O
tee hee thank you ^^ eh im a bit overwhelmed with rats at the moment. adopted many more rats then my three about 2 months ago. *shakes my fist at those lice* nothing a little ivermectin cant handle. ^^ when i lived in a shit-tastic apartment the wall rats kept infecting my rats with mites. *shudders*
Wow. How many? Thanks for the advice! I've been using the olive-oil treatment, which seems to work. It had been a month or two since the last time he had lice. Mites, you say? Mine have never had mites, but I was afraid that one of them did at one point. Turns out it was just dandruff and he needed a bath. >_> They're a little older than that, around 5 or 6 weeks. The larger of the two acts a lot like one of the first rats we ever had, and his eyes always look like they're about to pop out of his head... XD He's deathly scared of our 17-year old, declawed cat, who doesn't even know he exists...
Wow! That sounds like a lot of work. O_O XD I guess so. I just started getting the younger rats used to harnesses. The longer-legged one is getting the idea pretty quickly, but the shorter of the two tends to squish his front paws up against his face. And then he tries to walk without them. XD
